The Passion for Self-Preservation

Our men's group is going through the 10 Passions of a Man's Soul by Mark Elfstrand and this week's chapter on the passion of self-preservation is the best to date. After reading the chapter I was able to add to my bucket list, recall a childhood memory where my untrained survival skills were managed by only by sheer terror, and study the question why did God build self-preservation into each of us. I will be sharing these stories along with thoughts and quotes from the book and our group meetings this week so stay tuned.
